The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, continues to strengthen international collaboration to drive Thailand’s sustainable hydrogen economy. Recently, representatives from ENTEC, Dr. Visarn Lilavivat, Researcher and Mr. Pham Dinh Thao, Research Assistant from the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, participated in a three-week intensive training program titled “Clean Energy Innovation: Hydrogen Fuel Cell and Electrolyzer Technology” held from April 19 to May 11, 2026. This training program was organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, at Tongji University in Shanghai. The initiative aimed to empower professionals and specialists from “Belt and Road” countries by sharing China’s leading expertise and advanced developments in the automotive and clean energy sectors.
During the training, the ENTEC delegates strengthened their core technical fundamentals in advanced fuel cell and electrolyzer technologies. The curriculum also included site visits to China’s pioneering hydrogen enterprises, fostering technological exchange and supporting the global energy transition within the region.
Participation in this international program underscores ENTEC’s commitment to promoting green infrastructure and developing policy frameworks dedicated to decarbonizing Thailand’s transport sector. Through collaborating with international forefront agencies and experts, ENTEC actively supports the nation’s efforts to achieve its Net Zero Emissions targets and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
