ENTEC hosted a seminar for dissemination of research findings and feedback gathering: Project on preparedness for managing used solar panels

The National Energy Technology Center hosted a seminar for disseminating research results and collecting feedback of a project on preparedness for managing used solar panels. This seminar provides a platform for sharing research outcomes and receiving insights from stakeholders, including government officials, private sector representatives, educational institutions, and energy industry professionals. The focus is on developing best practices for testing, quality control, and safety measures for reused solar panels. The goal is to ensure the sustainability and benefits of solar panel reuse while fostering an environment conducive to future economic growth.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Assistant Executive Director of the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC). Dr. Amornrat Limmanee, Project Leader, then presented an overview and discussed the specific research findings before opening the floor for feedback on the practicality of solar panel management within the Thai context. Suggestions on adapting international experiences to the Thai context and input from stakeholders in the supply chain were also discussed.
