วันที่ 13 ธันวาคม 2566 ณ อาคารสำนักงานพัฒนาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งชาติ (สวทช.) ถ.พระรามที่ 6 พญาไท เขตราชเทวี กรุงเทพฯ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ไพรัช ธัชยพงษ์ กรรมการและเลขาธิการมูลนิธิเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศตามพระราชดำริสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดา ฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เป็นประธานการประชุมเพื่อติดตามผลการดำเนินงานโครงการไอซีทีเพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตสำหรับชุมชนชายขอบ : ด้านการบำรุงรักษาระบบผลิตไฟฟ้าและโทรมาตร (ระยะที่ 1) โดยมี ดร.สุมิตรา จรสโรจน์กุล ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์เทคโนโลยีพลังงานแห่งชาติ (ENTEC) ดร.ประดิษฐ์ เฟื่องฟู ผู้ช่วยผู้ว่าการไฟฟ้าส่วนภูมิภาค (กฟภ.) ดร.อัศวิน หงษ์สิงห์ทอง นักวิจัย/หัวหน้าโครงการฯ และทีมวิจัยเทคโนโลยีเซลล์แสงอาทิตย์ ENTEC ร่วมประชุมสรุปผลการดำเนินงานและแผนงานโครงการฯ โครงการไอซีทีเพื่อการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตสำหรับชุมชนชายขอบเป็นโครงการในพื้นที่โครงการตามพระราชดำริฯ ภายใต้มูลนิธิเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศตามพระราชดำริสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดา ฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี โดยโครงการดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาปรับปรุงและบำรุงรักษาระบบผลิตไฟฟ้าเซลล์แสงอาทิตย์และโทรมาตรให้มีประสิทธิภาพเพื่อใช้ประโยชน์ด้านส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ สาธารณสุขและการมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีของชุมชนในพื้นที่ทุรกันดารห่างไกล ซึ่งโครงการในระยะที่ 1 มีผลการดำเนินงานดังนี้ (ม.ค.-พ.ค. 2566) บริษัท เอไอเอส ซึ่งเป็นหน่วยงานพันธมิตรของโครงการ ได้ทำการปรับปรุงระบบเป็นแบบ Microwave เพื่อเพิ่มกำลังการส่งสัญญาณและกำลังไฟฟ้าของระบบในพื้นที่จังหวัดตาก
