On October 17, 2026, at Isuzu Phitsanulok Hok An Tung Co., Ltd. (Hok An Tung Group) in Phitsanulok Province.
National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), led by Dr. Peerawat Saisirirat, Leader of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team (RENT) together with Mr. Siamnat Panassorn and Mr. Masaki Ichisugi, senior managers from Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd., visited the pilot fueling station for the “Field Testing of Diesel Fuel Blended with 30% Biodiesel (B30+)” project. The visit took place at the comprehensive automotive service center of Isuzu Phitsanulok Hok An Tung Co., Ltd. (Hok An Tung Group) in Phitsanulok Province.
The collaborative project brings together key stakeholders, including Isuzu Motors Limited (Japan), Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd. (Thailand), Pathum Vegetable Oil Co., Ltd. (Thailand), the Krabi Provincial Farmers Council, and the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), through ENTEC. The project aims to test the utilization of B30+ biodiesel in two EURO 5 compliant heavy-duty trucks, covering a cumulative distance of 80,000 kilometers throughout the duration of the project.
During the site visit, Dr. Peerawat provided technical guidance on the standard operating procedures for blending B30+ fuel, formulated by mixing 600 liters of pure biodiesel (B100) with 1,400 liters standard commercial diesel (B7), at a volume of 2,000 liters per batch. ENTEC will continue to provide technical oversight and guidance for every subsequent fuel blending batch to ensure consistency throughout the testing period. The project aims to complete the on-road field testing by January 2027.
