2026.07.16 ENTEC, NSTDA Supports Thailand’s Battery Passport and EV Battery Recycling Policy

On 16 July 2026, the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, participated in a workshop on Battery Passport and Guidelines for Selecting Industrial Estate Locations for EV Battery Recycling, organized by the Thailand Automotive Institute.

The workshop supports Thailand’s efforts to build a sustainable battery management system and strengthen the EV battery value chain. During the event, Dr. Nattanai Kunanusont presented ENTEC’s work on the Battery Passport, which helps improve battery traceability, data management, and circular economy practices throughout the battery life cycle.

In addition, Dr. Pimpa Limthongkul, Dr. Jiravan Mongkoltanatas, and Dr. Nattanai Kunanusont shared ENTEC’s research on EV battery recycling technologies and the selection of suitable locations for future battery recycling facilities. Their research provides technical information to support national policy, promote sustainable battery management, and strengthen Thailand’s EV industry.
