On 1–2 June 2026, at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), Bangkok, the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, led by Dr. Peerawat Saisirirat, Team Leader; Dr. Kampanart Silva, researcher; and Ms. Kanokwan Maikaew, assistant researcher of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, participated in the Regional Workshop on Clean Energy Technologies and Inclusive Energy Transition under the EmPower: Women for Climate-Resilient Societies Programme, jointly implemented by UN Women and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
The workshop brought together representatives from countries across Asia, government agencies, academic institutions, international organizations, and energy-sector partners to exchange experiences on capacity building, clean energy technology training, and approaches to advancing an inclusive and sustainable energy transition.
During the workshop, Dr. Kampanart Silva joined the session “Learning from the Wider Ecosystem Beyond EmPower” to share perspectives on strengthening clean energy technology capacity among government officials and translating technical knowledge into policy implementation and practical action. ENTEC’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting a sustainable energy transition through regional collaboration and knowledge exchange.
