On August 22, 2025, the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Thailand, participated in the 2025 China Southern Power Grid Energy Development Forum and Research Results Release Conference organized by the Energy Development Research Institute (EDRI), China Southern Power Grid (CSG), in Guangzhou, China.
Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Deputy Director of ENTEC, accompanied by Dr.Visarn Lilavivat, was invited as one of the keynote speakers, delivering a presentation titled “Fostering Thailand’s Energy Transition Through Research for Resilience and Regional Cooperation.” In her speech, Dr. Lily highlighted Thailand’s pathway toward carbon neutrality, the role of cutting-edge research in strengthening resilience, and the importance of regional cooperation in accelerating the energy transition across ASEAN.
The conference gathered distinguished leaders and experts, including senior executives from CSG, representatives of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), the China Electricity Council, and global think tank members. ENTEC’s participation reflects its commitment to advancing sustainable energy development and strengthening international collaboration for a greener future.
