On February 5-6, 2025 at the Khon Kaen University Science Park
Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC) and Director of the Thailand Electric Vehicle Excellence Center (TECE), along with researchers from the Energy Storage Technology Research Team, Innovation Energy Research Group, business development officers from Rail and Modern Transports Research Group, directors, and engineers from the Infrastructure Development Division of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), visited the Battery and New Energy Factory (UVOLT) at the Khon Kaen University Science Park. They also discussed strategies and operational guidelines for establishing and preparing the launch of a battery pilot plant at EECi. This initiative follows the concept of establishing a high-safety alternative battery materials research pilot plant as a platform for research and development on safe battery technologies to support the nation’s energy security, aiming to enhance energy security and support the domestic battery industry.
