ENTEC participated the 3rd Asian and Pacific Energy Forum organized by the United Nations ESCAP and the Ministry of Energy.

On October 17, 2023, at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok

Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of Low Carbon Energy Research Group, was invited to participate in the Policy Dialogue on the Electrification of Public Transport which was held as part of the 3rd Asian and Pacific Energy Forum organized by the United Nations ESCAP and the Ministry of Energy. The forum took place from October 16-20, 2523, and the seminar on October 17, 2023 aimed to share experiences on transitioning to electric vehicles in public transportation. Therefore, the presentation focused on assessing the potential of electric vehicles in reducing carbon emissions in the transportation sector and overcoming acceptance challenges in four provinces of Thailand. This effort is part of the project titled “Study on Challenges and Opportunities of EV Development for Land-based Public Transport Sector in Four Provinces of Thailand.”

Additionally, the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), represented by Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Assistant Executive Director, and Dr. Amornrat Limmanee, Solar Photovoltaic Research Team Leader, also set up a booth to showcase ENTEC research work at the event.
