ENTEC Advances ASEAN Hydrogen Cooperation
A key highlight of the meetings was ENTEC’s presentation of the Low-Carbon H2 ASEAN (LH2ASEAN): Japan–ASEAN Hydrogen Future project. This cross-sectoral initiative seeks to establish integrated cooperation with ASEAN energy networks through the Senior Officials Meeting on Energy (SOME) and the Renewable Energy Sub-Sector Network (RE-SSN). The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) serves as the coordinating body for engagement with ASEAN Member States.
The initiative aims to secure support from the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) to strengthen human resource capacity in low-carbon hydrogen across ASEAN, contributing to the region’s efforts to develop expertise and advance cooperation in clean energy technologies.
