On December 9, 2025, Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of Low Carbon Energy Research Group, along with Mr. Pidpong Janta, an assistant researcher in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, Low Carbon Energy Research Group, National Energy Technology Center, participated in a workshop entitled “Sustainable Infrastructure Assessment using the SAVi Methodology” which was held by International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD). Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop and Mr. Pidpong Janta have learned Sustainable Asset Valuation (SAVi) approach which is an assessment to investigate and evaluate risks and externalities in economic, social, and environmental aspects. SAVi approach is beneficial for planners, policymakers, and decision makers who aim to investigate landscape of transport infrastructure projects and design policies appropriate for sustainable development. Furthermore, participants from various public organizations, especially Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP) which is an organization who can effectively utilize SAVi approach to contribute to transport infrastructure improvement.
