ENTEC-NSTDA Participated in “The 2nd Workshop on the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Innovation Corridor Development” and the “International Training on Green Technologies in the Lancang-Mekong Region” in Kunming, People’s Republic of China

From 10 – 16 November 2025, The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, represented by Ms. Kanokwan Maikaew, Research Assistant of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, participated in the 2nd Workshop on the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Innovation Corridor Development and the International Training on Green Technologies in the Lancang-Mekong Region.

These events were jointly organized by the Yunnan Province Science and Technology Department, the Yunnan Provincial Academy of Science and Technology, and Yunnan University, with support from the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Science and Technology of China. The programs were held in Kunming, People’s Republic of China.

During the program, participants received training on the following topics:

  1. Promoting Low Carbon Development through Systemic Innovation
  2. River & Lake Ecosystem Management: From Smart Monitoring to Eco-Restoration
  3. Development and Application of Perennial Food Crops for South and Southeast Asia
  4. Perovskite Solar Cell: A New Generation of Photovoltaic Technique Beyond Si
  5. Current Development Status and Technological Development Trends of the Silicon Photovoltaic Industry

The workshop and training program serve as an important foundation for strengthening regional collaboration in Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI). The initiative emphasizes the application of green technologies and digital innovation as key mechanisms for driving sustainable, resilient, and inclusive development across the Lancang-Mekong region.
