2025.10.28 ENTEC and Ratch Pathana Energy Visit Solar Panel Recycling Facility at Irradiance Solar Co., Ltd.

The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), led by Dr. Pimpa Limthongkul, Director of the Energy Innovation Research Group, and Dr. Amornrat Limmanee, Team Leader of the Solar Photovoltaic Research Team, along with their research team, joined representatives from Ratch Pathana Energy Public Company Limited for a site visit to the solar panel recycling facility operated by Irradiance Solar Co., Ltd. in Samut Sakhon Province.

During the visit, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Ekachai Na-udom, Head of Marketing, and Mr. Sarawut Chotchayaporn, Sales Officer at Irradiance Solar Co., Ltd., who provided comprehensive insights and guided the group through the end-to-end solar panel recycling process. The tour covered the entire workflow, from the initial collection and staging of panels in the holding yard, through the full recycling process itself, which demonstrated the systematic separation of various solar panel components before they are sent for further material recovery and recycling.

For this collaborative visit, ENTEC and Ratch Pathana Energy exchanged technical and operational insights while gaining valuable knowledge and practical experience from Irradiance Solar Co., Ltd. The exchange enhanced their understanding of industrial-scale solar panel recycling systems and reflected the company’s commitment to promoting Zero Waste and advancing a Circular Economy. Underscoring the growing emphasis on sustainable end-of-life management for renewable energy infrastructure, this visit also strengthened partnerships between research institutions and industry leaders in the clean energy sector. These efforts are expected to elevate Thailand’s energy industry, facilitate the growth of renewable energy, and contribute to sustainable development in the years ahead.
