On August 29, 2025, the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), led by Dr. Suparoek Henpraserttae, from the Clean Fuel Technology and Advanced Chemistry Research Team, and his research team delivered 900 liters of H-FAME, a premium-grade biodiesel, to Sun-up Recycling Co.,Ltd for practical field testing in trucks.
Premium Biodiesel H-FAME was further developed by the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, under the research project “Demonstration of 100% High-Quality Biodiesel Production and Field Testing in Thailand”, funded by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), Japan. H-FAME is a next-generation biofuel with enhanced durability and longer oxidation stability compared to conventional biodiesel, enabling extended shelf life and compatibility with modern diesel engines. H-FAME biodiesel also promotes cleaner energy by reducing particulate matter (PM) emissions, and lowering greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 50%, supporting national efforts toward pollution reduction and sustainable development. In addition, field testing data collected by leading enterprises is expected to build confidence among users in adopting H-FAME as a 100% biofuel (B100). This development underscores its potential as a carbon-neutral fuel and a key contributor to sustainable energy practices for the future.
