2025.08.29-27 ENTEC Participates in the International Conference “Asian Symposium on Risk Assessment and Management 2025 (ASRAM 2025)”

The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), participated in the international academic conference Asian Symposium on Risk Assessment and Management 2025 (ASRAM 2025), held from August 27 to 29, 2025, in Pattaya, Chonburi.

Dr. Kampanart Silva, Researcher, and Mr. Pidpong Janta, Research Assistant, from the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team under the Low Carbon Energy Research Group, attended the conference as members of the academic committee responsible for reviewing and evaluating the quality of abstracts and full manuscripts submitted by participants.

  1. Dr.Kampanart Silva presented on the topic: “Consideration of Levelized Cost of Electricity and Investment Risks of Small Modular Reactors in Emerging Countries”.
He also served as a moderator for the panel discussion on “Preparation of Risk Assessment to Support Decision-Making for Newcomers Looking Forward to SMR Technology” and led a special workshop on “ASEAN Dialogue Partner Collaboration on Safety and Risk Assessment”.

  2. Mr.Pidpong Janta delivered a presentation on the topic: “Standard Operating Procedure for Development of Adaptive Resilience Curve to Assess Resilience of Clean Energy Systems”.

This event marked a significant milestone as ASRAM 2025 was the first time the symposium was held outside of its traditional host countries—namely, the People’s Republic of China, Japan, and South Korea. The symposium was highly successful in attracting international attention and served as a key platform for fostering cross-border collaboration in the promotion and development of Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology.
