The 2nd Thai Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference (Thai PVSEC-2) was organized by the PVSEC-36 Committee and the Thai Photovoltaic Industries Association (TPVA). The Solar Photovoltaic Technology Research Team (SPVT) from Energy Innovation Research Group, National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), served as one of the co-organizers of this academic conference. The event aimed to bring together comprehensive research on solar cells in Thailand, covering R&D, applications, and government support policies.
During this occasion, Dr. Jiravan Mongkoltanatas, a researcher from the Energy Storage Technology Research Team, participated as a speaker in the session “PV in Sustainable Energy Systems and Policy” Her presentation addressed government support policies, the status of solar electricity production in Thailand, and research on solar electricity management.
Additionally, Dr. Taweewat Krajangsang, a researcher from the Solar Photovoltaic Technology Research Team, served as the moderator in the session “Next-generation Solar Cells”, which featured studies on various solar cell materials, including Perovskite and Crystalline Silicon Tandem cells.
Furthermore, ENTEC personnel including researchers, research assistants, and engineers from the SPVT team attended the “System Engineering and Field Performance” session. This session featured research on practical applications, testing and analysis of solar panel standards and systems, as well as recycling methods. Participants had the opportunity to network and exchange knowledge to foster academic collaborations in solar cell technologies, contributing to the advancement of renewable energy technologies in Thailand.
