The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, participated in The International Conference on Science, Engineering and Innovation 2025 (ICSEI 2025), held in association with the AUN/SEED-Net Regional Conference during 27–28 November 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Vientiane, Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
The conference was organized by the Faculty of Engineering, National University of Laos (NUOL) in collaboration with AUN/SEED-Net, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Burapha University (Thailand), Climate Compatible Growth (UK), and the Ministry of Education and Sports (Lao PDR). The event aimed to serve as a platform for knowledge exchange in the fields of Science, Engineering, Innovation, and Sustainable Development, covering key topics such as Renewable Energy, Sustainable Infrastructure, Climate Change, Smart Technologies, Circular Economy, and STEM Education.
On this occasion, ENTEC presented two research papers. Mr. Thao Dinh Pham, Research Assistant, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, presented his work entitled “Techno-Economic and Environmental Assessment of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Powered Train for Sustainable Railway Operations in Thailand”. Additionally, Ms. Khemika Juajamsai, Research Assistant with Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, presented her study entitled “Quantifying Impact of Rainfall and Flood on Road Traffic: A Case Study of Highway 4024 in Phuket”. These presentations reflect the application of science, technology, and innovation to support sustainable transportation systems and regional sustainable development.
