On August 26 to September 5, 2025, the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, was represented by Dr. Tawan Champeecharoensuk, Researcher, and Ms. Kanokwan Maikaew, Research Assistant, from the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, who participated in the “Green Synergy Leadership Training Program”. The program was organized by the APEC Research Center for Advanced Biohydrogen Technology (APEC-ACABT) and hosted at Feng Chia University in Taichung, Taiwan. The training included sessions on a variety of topics, including:
- Renewable Energy Development and Green Power Trend
- Net-Zero Trend
- Renewable Energy Plant Design and Carbon Reduction Analysis
- Social Participation Practices
as well as other related classes.
In addition, they took part in the “APEC YES Challenge 2025”, where they presented ideas and solutions addressing environmental and social issues. The activity aimed to enhance knowledge and skills in bioenergy, circular economy, and the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green) economic model, with a particular focus on advancing toward a Net-Zero society within the APEC region.
