2025.06.05 ENTEC and NECTEC Host Suranaree University of Technology, School of Electrical Engineering Visit

On June 5, 2025 at ENTEC, Thailand Science Park, Pathum Thani

The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC) and the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), welcomed a distinguished delegation from Suranaree University of Technology (SUT). The delegation was led by Associate Professor Dr. Keerati Chayakulkeeree, Head of the School of Electrical Engineering, and accompanied by faculty members and graduate students from SUT’s School of Engineering.

The visit was hosted by Dr. Pimpa Limthongkul, Director of the Energy Innovation Research Group at ENTEC, and Dr. Jasada Kudtongngam, a researcher from the Intelligent SCADA Research Team under the Advanced Control and Electronics Research Group. The program featured comprehensive presentations on cutting-edge research topics, including energy storage systems for a carbon-neutral energy transition, solar cell technology for sustainable green energy adoption, and Smart Grid challenges in modern electrical systems. Participants also toured specialized laboratories, such as the Solar Cell Technology Research Laboratory and the Energy Storage System Technology Research Laboratory, gaining firsthand insights into real-world research environments and technology-ready innovations.

This knowledge-sharing initiative aims to inspire new research directions, foster collaboration in electrical engineering development, and strengthen future partnerships in research and personnel development between the institutions.
