Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC) under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), was honored to be invited by Dr. Wipoo Piwat, Deputy Governor-Generation at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), to serve as an expert guest speaker.
Dr. Sumittra delivered a special lecture titled “Hydrogen Landscape: Where Is the World Heading and How Ready Are We?” and participated in a panel discussion on “Urgent Issues in Preparing for Hydrogen to Achieve Carbon Neutrality Goals.”
The seminar was conducted in hybrid format with over 180 participants from power plants across Thailand. The event aimed to facilitate policy discussions and consider recommendations from relevant agencies to advance the Green Area Model, an alternative energy power generation initiative, with a specific focus on hydrogen within the context of energy transition and carbon neutrality.
