Smart microgrid network and energy trading platform: A pilot project for a local energy system

Thailand has prepared its readiness in generating, distributing and selling electricity from renewable resources in order to move towards the low carbon society. Utilization of energy management technology, e.g.  smart grid and microgrid, for managing energy use and smart response can lead to efficient energy use and behavioral change that turns consumers into prosumers.

An Electrolyte disinfectant generator
for use in hospitals

Emerging infectious diseases have been a serious threat to public health due to the difficulty in control and prevention, in particular the recent outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), which can be transmitted rapidly through the respiratory system and by physical contacts.  One of the strategies to curb the spread of transmissable diseases is to use effective disinfectants to clean public areas and for use in the hospital.

Solar Awning (SunGuard PV)

The design of the solar panel is important not only for maximizing efficiency of electricity generation but also for enhancing building aesthetics. However, solar panels available in the current market (Glass-Tedlar and Glass-Glass), are heavy, rigid and usually come in a rectangular shape. This has limited the design and application of solar panels for architectural purposes such as roof top and awning.
