On June 13, 2025, at meeting room MP303, MTEC Pilot Plant Building, Thailand Science Park,
Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of ENTEC, NSTDA, warmly welcomed Mr. Wittaya Rakphong from the New Initiatives and Outreach (NIO) working group of the IEEE Power & Energy Society Thailand Chapter during his visit to explore the center’s cutting-edge research laboratories and innovations.
The visit featured research presentations by key ENTEC researchers: Dr. Pimpa Limthongkul, Director of the Energy Innovation Research Group, Dr. Amornrat Limmanee, Solar Photovoltaic Research Team Leader and Dr. Boonyawan Yoosuk, Clean Fuel Technology and Advanced Chemistry Research Team Leader, together with the ENTEC research team. Two key innovations were showcased:
- EnPAT – A bio-based, safe transformer oil developed from palm oil
- Research and Development in Solar Photovoltaic Technologies
The visit fostered a productive exchange of knowledge between ENTEC and Mr. Wittaya, focusing on energy research, power generation, and electricity system management in Thailand.
This collaborative engagement represents a significant step toward strengthening the synergy between research institutions and professional energy organizations, driving progress toward a more sustainable energy future for the country.
